Profan ist wieder am Start, Junge.

Eines der warhscheinlich verquertesten deutschen Technolabels ist mit einem Release von Reinhard Voigt als SOG wieder im Spiel.


Profan's next release will be an EP by SOG, one of Voigt's many pseudonyms. Entitled Abweichung, the record comprises four avant-garde techno tracks, vaguely in the style of Voigt's Studio 1 alias. The record's aesthetic is rigid and prodding, with soothing splashes of classical music popping in at unexpected moments. The EP is named after a painting by Voigt, which also serves as the record's cover art. Another release on Profan is due later this year, along with an art book and double CD called Werkschau.
